Dr. Malini Abrol was born in Maryland and raised in Northern Virginia. She attended Langley High School in McLean, VA, where she was co-captain of the dance team and played the violin.  Much of her free time throughout high school and college was spent learning (and loving) classical Indian dance.  She attended the University of Virginia in the mid-90s and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry.  She then moved to sunny South Florida to attend dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.  After graduation, she completed a one year general dentistry residency in NYC at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.  She returned home and has been working as a general dentist in the area since 2003.

Dr. Abrol is an avid sports fanatic who is a long-time fan of the Washington Capitals, as well as Washington Redskins. Her love of travel has taken her to several different countries, but she is not able to jet-set as often as she would like! In recent years she has started to practice yoga and meditation in order to be more Zen and find peace in the craziness of life. She believes laughter is a key ingredient in the success of life and that it’s easier to smile than to frown. Her upbeat personality helps all to remember that “anything is possible”!
